In this project, we generated leaf transcriptome as well as low coverage whole genome shotgun sequences from 48 Lamiaceae species and 4 outgroup species to understand the evolution of chemical diversity in this family. As described in our 2018 publication (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.molp.2018.06.002), we generated transcriptome assemblies as well as expression abundances for all 52 species. These data can be downloaded from the Dryad Digital Repository (https://datadryad.org/resource/doi:10.5061/dryad.tj1p3.1).

The raw RNA-seq data and whole genome shotgun sequence can be obtained on the Leaf Transcriptome and Whole Genome Shotgun Sequence data from 52 Lamiales Species page.

We have also generated genome assemblies and transcriptome data from a subset of these species to further understand genome evolution in this family. These can be found on the Targeted Lamiaceae genome and transcriptome sequences page.
